Hi all experts;
I'm a 3rd student majoring in geophysics. Currently, I am having to interpret seismic refraction data for the course. I am using SeisImager software to explain, used the Pickwin module to build the travel time curve, but do not know how to use the Plotrefa module to build the velocity model. Looking forward to the guidance of experts step by step how to using, running the Plotrefa module to build a velocity model.
I respectfully thanks you in advance.

Re: interpreting seismic refraction data using SeisImager software
hey hello,
It is easy.
Just open the pick file you save from Pickwin with Plotrefa. When opened the data are displayed as traveltime curves.
If you have topography, you can load it first from File menu via open elevation data file.
For tomographic inversion, construct the initial model first from Tomography menu, then Generate initial model. in the initial model window, you can choose the default parameters or change it according to your knowledge of the data.
Then, you can run the inversion, from Tomography menu choose inversion.
Then you got the model.
I wish this helps.

Haven't you read the manual? Pretty much walks you through it.
