Journal paper

#thesis paper will be an added advantage tho'

Journal of applied geophysics has a lot of open access articles:

Also open access: Annals of Geophysics (Italy): http://www.annalsofgeophysics.eu

Below is the list of journals related to geophysics, you can try some of them to see whether you can get free access articles or student discounted access. Or maybe your school has the subscriptions:
