What is the difference between your soft "ZondRes2D" and the well known Res2dinv?

The main difference -
1. Other ways of data interpretation. I don't like the concept of the black-box. For this reason, I try to make maximum use of a priori information.
2. Quality control of data and results.
3. Interface.
4. Inversion algorithms

Yes I am familiar with the russian geophysical community. They have an extensive use of a priori information( geological, well and others), which in my opinion is good for complex geological environnement and is a best control for inversion. May be as you stated, the black-box concept gives solutions, but without geological significance.

It seems that your ZondIP1 soft looks like "IPI2WIN", at least the graphical user interface"GUI". I have downloaded both , ZondIP1 and ZondRes2D but they are in DEMO mode. Can i test them?

"ZondRes2D"crawl space encapsulation philadelphia pa is a software developed by Zond company that is used for 2D resistivity and IP inversion, while Res2dinv is a software developed by Geotomo Software company that is also used for 2D resistivity and IP inversion. Both are similar in terms of functionality but ZondRes2D may have additional features or a different user interface.
