Hello everyone,
I'm trying to develop a program to calculate the sensitivity for the loop-loop method (FDEM). My data was taken using a GSSI Profiler EMP-400, and I would like to use my program with the setup of this instrument and use it on the data I have collected.
The sensitivity function depends on the induced electric field (E) in the ground, which depends on the magnetic dipole moment (m) in the transmitter coil, where:
m = NIA
N = number of turns
I = current
A = area of the loop
I am wondering: Is there anyway, short of breaking open the device, to determine those three values?
Any and all help would be very greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
