Hello everyone,
I hope all of you are good, i want to recommended me a good devices to detect (graves, cavity, voids) underground , I would rather device cost between ( 1000$ to 2500$).
Thank you all
Good devices to detect Void/graves
Re: Good devices to detect Void/graves
You might be able to find a 2nd hand ground penetrating radar with that price range.
Re: Good devices to detect Void/graves
Like what ? and if you know any ERT device's please let me know.
Thank you
Thank you

Re: Good devices to detect Void/graves
As geophix said, GPR would be most likely the best for graves, cavity, and voids. If you aim for looking for graves, they are usually shallow.
I had an opportunity to look for graves - we used 400 MHz antenna for that.
Yet keep in mind that for graves that are older it may not be that effective. But it surely will work for voids and cavities.
ERT is good for relatively fresh burial areas and mass graves (at least to my knowledge), I don't know much about ERT instruments, yet I myself work at ABEM Terrameter but prices are over $40 000, I think.

Thank you, SeismicStorm.
I want to ask you can 400 MHZ penetration underground at depth like 3m or 4m?

Re: Good devices to detect Void/graves
Welcome. 400 MHz will normally allow you for penetration up to approximately 8 m below the surface - but it all depends on the geological conditions.
Though I see a lot of people also using 500 MHz antennas for such research, but their penetration range is smaller.

Re: Good devices to detect Void/graves
A depth of penetration of 8 m for a 400 MHz antenna is completely unrealistic. Here is what GSSI says for penetration depths for these antenna frequency ranges.
400 MHz 0-4 m (0-12 ft) Utility, Engineering, Environmental, Void Detection
350 MHz HS 0-12 m (0-40 ft) Typical: 6 m / 20 ft, Maximum: 12 m / 40 ft
