best magnetometer now!

Post by bushido »

hello, i'm willing to buy a magnetometer for archeological surveys and treasure hunting. i will be particularly looking for ancient tombs and chambers and man-made objects. I want to use the best and the most precise magnetometer available on the market. I read about Geometrics, gemsys companies. i read about the different magnetometer technologies(fluxgate, ppm, overhauser, cesium mag..)
i need advice from experimented users and i'll be thankful.

depth of exploration :max 15 meters

Over 30 years experience in using mags... I prefer a Cesium (Geometrics) - hands down..

Just one comment: there is no such term as depth of investigation regarding magnetometer brands.
