Help with the choice of "used" equipment for working with water in a soil layer up to 3-4 m.
What to look at from instruments measuring electrical resistivity?
approximate prices, availability and the possibility of buying used?

What's the purpose of measuring the resistivity? Just to get a sense about the scale and accuracy requirement of your measurement.

Soil cuts (1D) up to 3 - meters. Catena (2D) - 100-200 meters.

I will second the questions by geophix above, without knowing the specific application we can't make any useful suggestions. Assuming that you are trying to map larger areas to depths of 3-4m, I would suggest that you will be looking at frequency domain electromagnetic induction (FDEM) instruments and not electrical resistivity. For shallow surveys (<6m depth), electrical resistivity is very slow compared to FDEM. The only exception is for grounding studies where in the USA the fall of potential approach is standard. A number of FDEM manufacturers are making most of their money now in providing instruments for precision farming.

Hello. The purpose is to study the water content in high detail, layer by layer (0-3 m,layer thickness 10-20 cm ), for the root-containing soil layer.

Thanks for your e-mail.
DC-2500 Seismoelectric Ground-flow Locator receives seismoelectric signal To locate water directly
Since 2011, Seismo Electronic has carried out ~300 commercial cases including locating water, geothermal and hydrocarbons around world—with 90% success rate in groundwater surveys. the direct survey depth is 800 M (2400ft), after down load data processing, the penetration will be 2000-3000M. Our interpreted seismoelectric data is 70% match the well log. There is also the relative permeability information of the aquifers.
We have videos of seismoelectric in Youtube:

We also offer online presentation with Zoom。
If you have any questions, please let me know.
