Apex-Parametrics Double-Dipole Mark II EM

Selling a an Apex Parametrics ( makers of the MaxMin ) Double-Dipole MarkII EM. Measures In-Phase and Quadrature (Out-of-Phase). Simultaneous readout of both components. Indicates conductors and magnetically permeable bodies. Frequency 5000 Hz. Maximum depth of penetration 26 metres (85 ft.), depending on the size of the conductor. Light weight, rugged, one-man unit. Coil separation 1.5 metres. Weight 3.75 Kg (8.25 Lbs.). Uses 2 standard 9V transistor batteries. Comes with foam lined shipping case and manual. Asking $1500 plus shipping.

Hi is this still available to purchase ? is this a horizontal loop EM ?

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. It is still available for purchase. It is made by the makers of the MaxMin EM. It is a horizontal loop EM, although the coils are at a slight angle to the horizontal so that they are minimum coupled. if you are interested I could send you a copy of the manual.
