Magma as a generator of plasma and thermonuclear fusion in the bowels of the Earth

Post by serguei58 »

Is the flow of magma capable of creating conditions in the earth's crust and mantle for the start of a natural thermonuclear reaction?
The answer to the article below is obvious - yes!

In short, when magma moves through the channels of the Earth, hydraulic shocks occur. When a shock wave from a water hammer passes through the rocks of the earth's crust and mantle, high temperature and pressure contribute to the appearance of fast electrons, which form solid plasma, or the so-called warm dense matter (WDM) and muons, which serve as a catalyst for the process. It is the muons that give the start of a low-temperature thermonuclear reaction. If radioactive elements appear in the reaction zone, then a thermonuclear reaction under the "uranium blanket" is possible.

You certainly got a lot of new ideas. I will certainly read them when I got time. Currently I am so busy, but good to know there are some interesting ideas out there. I used to think seismology is almost dead: we already got the general idea, we just need to fill in the details.

Modern seismology is truly dead. Mr. Reid's elastic theory has killed not only seismology but other areas of geophysics. It, like a huge octopus, has seized a stranglehold on geophysics and strangles any direction of research other than Reid's theory. The elastic model, as a high wall, fenced off the road to solving the problem of earthquakes, and seismologists, instead of climbing this wall and looking at what is behind the wall, sit comfortably at its foot and write dissertations about what may be behind the wall. They fantasize, fantasize, and everything on the topic of elastic deformations in the rocks of the earth's crust. And they're not there, those damn elastic deformations! Thank you for your attention to my work!
