Near surface Geophysics

Post by bryzle91 » Sun Nov 12, 2017 12:10 pm

Hi,
i am about to make a decision on the purchase of a suitable Data analysis Package for MASW. I need to choose between winMASW and Zond2D geophysical software. Which one is the best ?

I haven't used the Zond software. I've used winMASW and I liked it, but the full-featured version. There was a time when few packages allowed both Rayleigh and Love waves for surface wave processing.

What I don't like about winMASW: tiered pricing for features that aren't major differences between the end-users. This isn't Landmark charging different for 300 channels vs 10000 channels. "Oh you want to use a non-linear array and run spatial autocorrelation? No problem. What's your credit card number?"

Hello Pster,
